Volunteers are the key to keeping the Maricopa County Parks and trail system working effectively including those in and around Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant. Many volunteer opportunities are available, with volunteers serving more than 90,000 hours annually.
Lake Pleasant in Arizona is a popular location for scuba diving, offering diverse underwater terrain and depths suitable for various skill levels. It features rock walls, canyons, and underwater structures, including the old Waddell Dam, and is known for its freshwater fish and other aquatic life, including a variety of fish species, such as largemouth bass, white bass, and catfish.
