Sunset Cruises Launch at Scorpion Bay Marina

There's nothing quite like being on the lake at sunset and now that experience is more accessible thanks to the new sunset cruise at Scorpion Bay Marina. This new offering welcomes guests to a 75-minute cruise on one of the marina's 52-foot-long luxury charter boats. Visitors will cruise the lake, including its many coves and bluffs, as the day comes to an end and the moon rises.

“We love being able to offer this new experience to our guests,” said Scorpion Bay Marina General Manager Lynn Lovelady. “People often think of going to the lake in the summer, but the fall and winter months are just as beautiful, and this is a great opportunity for us to share that with them.”

The sunset cruise is the marina's latest offering to locals and visitors alike. Earlier this year they launched four floating cabins, each sleeping up to 8 people. The cabins have been met with enthusiastic support, booking out several weeks in advance during the busy summer season. “We see the desire for people to be on the water and we understand that not everyone has the desire or the means to own a boat, so we're doing everything we can to make the lake accessible to anyone who wants to enjoy it. This lake is gorgeous, it's easy to get to no matter where you live in the Valley, and we're excited to see more people come out for a visit.”

The cruise will launch Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 5 pm. Guests will enjoy music and the serenity of the lake while enjoying the beverages they choose to bring on board. The cruise is limited to 40 people and costs $25 per person. To reserve a spot, contact the marina office at 928-501-2628.
