Valentine’s Day can be a stressful time for people depending on their relationship status and expectations. For the committed couple, nothing beats a few days of serenity in the Marina’s highly sought-after floating cabins. These luxurious cabins launched mid-2023 and were met with an enthusiastic response.
“Guests have really loved having this new way of experiencing the lake,” said Scorpion Bay Marina General Manager Lynn Lovelady. “It provides access to the lake many people didn’t have before.”
If you don’t own a boat and don’t want to own a boat, you can still come out and enjoy life on the water with the added perks of a warm shower and comfortable bed. The fully furnished cabins sleep four or eight, depending on which cabin you choose. Guests only need to bring food, their personal belongings, and the desire to relax and unwind on the water. The cabins are available for 7-day, 6-night stays and can be reserved on the Scorpion Bay website.
Perfect for a Galantine’s weekend retreat, the marina is also offering a winter special through March 1, 2024 where guests can enjoy a 4-day, 3-night option which can be reserved by calling the marina office. Galantine’s Day is a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends. 2. New Relationships
Couples in the early stages of a relationship can enjoy time well spent onboard Scorpion Bay Marina’s monthly Sunset Cruise. These cruises launched in late 2023 and have sold out each month. With a modest price of $25 per person, they’re the perfect date night for those who seek a non-traditional experience and a low-commitment excursion. Sunset Cruises last just more than an hour and are timed to coincide with the Valley’s amazing and often Instagramed sunsets. No date? No problem! Scorpion Bay is a perfect place for all the single ladies (and guys) to spend their Single Awareness weekend February 16 and 17. The Scorpion Bay Grill offers an elevated menu that will make you feel like you’re treating yourself and truly celebrating your independence. The Grille is known for its Phoenix hot chicken sandwich, ahi tuna salad and creative craft cocktails. We’re confident an afternoon or evening spent on the Grille’s picturesque patio will plant the seed for future visits throughout the year.
