Scorpion Bay Grill Enhances Award-Winning Menu

Scorpion Bay Grill, named a Peoria top restaurant by Mayor Cathy Carlat and Councilmember Bridget Binsbacher, has recently enhanced its already award-winning menu.

The elevated lake-fare is a combination of high-end country club and favorite neighborhood bar, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious appetizers, flatbreads, salads, burgers and beverages, all enjoyed with a stunning lake views. In addition to the traditional marina food such as burgers and fries, Scorpion Bay Grill’s menu also features options such as vegetarian and gluten-free options upon request. Among the favorite dishes, which are subject to change with seasonal updates, are several new options!

Burgers

The Grill offers diners their choice of protein, (angus patty, chicken breast, turkey burger, or beyond meat™) choice of style, and choice of side (beer batted fires, potato salad, pineapple-sriracha slaw, tater -tots, of brew city onion rings.) Mouthwatering burgers include the Scorpion Bay Burger (7 oz. tender angus beef served with onion rings), the Teriyaki, Southwest and Cowboy burger.

Sandwiches, tacos, fish and chips

Dig into the new Walleye Sandwich, a fried filet with house-made tartar, lettuce, onion and tomato on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The new menu keeps Grill favorites such as the Marina Club, Reuben, Dam Good Fish Taco, Blackened Chicken Wrap, breakfast taco, or Chef Joe’s Fish and Chips with that tasty pineapple-sriracha slaw.

Fresh Salads

The Grill has added a new Greek Salad with romaine, cucumber, tomato, mixed peppers, red onion, olives, feta, pepperoncini with a house-made oregano vinaigrette. We’ve kept our classic Caesar, Baja Chicken, house or strawberry/spinach. Add chicken to each for a protein punch.

Appetizers

Try Chef Joe’s new Shrimp Ceviche served with wonton chips or in lettuce cups with house-made sriracha aioli. Other delicious appetizers include: edamame, quesadillas, jumbo wings, onion rings, fried chicken planks and their famous pretzel platter with beer cheese and house-made mustard are popular choices.

Flatbreads

The four featured flatbreads are barbeque chicken, margarita, pepperoni and weekend F.O.D., which changes each weekend!

Beverages

There’s one for everybody, including refreshing lemonades and drinks for the kids; mimosas, cocktails and margaritas for the adults.

Desserts

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a choice of ice cream, fried apple chimi, cheesecake or the new Dockside S’mores. This is a scoop of ice cream, graham cracker crust, chocolate brownie, toasted marshmallow and chocolate drizzle.

Weekend Dinner Specials

Fridays and Saturdays include seasonal dinner specials that the chef prepares exclusively for dinner guests. These mouthwatering options can range from honey glazed salmon, New York strip steak, savory ribeye, tortellini, seafood trio, beef short ribs, chicken parmesan, beef stroganoff, manicotti and more. Scorpion Bay Grill is currently open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sundays, but hours are seasonal so be sure to check the website for hours before making the drive.

Guests can also take it to go by ordering ahead at 928-501-3440, pay and pickup at the General Store and you’re on your way!
