Paqua Park FAQ

Paqua Park, Arizona’s only floating playground, returns to action this March for an unforgettable season that’s sure to be a blast. Located at the Scorpion Bay Marina on beautiful Lake Pleasant, this aquatic adventure is just a 45-minute drive from Phoenix, offering 5,000 sq feet of fun for those 7 years and up! Before you go, here are six of our most frequently asked questions.

How does it work?

Getting started is easy! Once you arrive at the Marina you’ll want to check in at the main office. There you can sign a waiver for each participant, if you haven’t already done so online, and get your wristband. You’ll hear some quick dos and don’ts from one of our lifeguards and then you’re all set! Let the adventure begin!

What are the requirements and rules?

Every participant must sign a waiver. If you’re under the age of 18, you’ll need a parent to fill one out for you. We ask that our guests keep themselves and everyone else safe by adhering to these main rules:

  • Feet first on ALL slides! No head-first diving and no flips.
  • Don’t try to swim under the inflatables and no rough play.
  • No selfie sticks or sharp objects allowed.
  • Life vests must always remain on, and you must know how to swim.

What if I can’t make it or show up late?

If you need to make an adjustment to your reservation, you must do so at least 48 hours in advance of said reservation. If you are going to be late or fail to show up for your session, you will not be issued a refund.

Can I do more than one session?

Yes! You will just have to exit between sessions and attend the safety briefing again.

How deep is the water?

The course will always be at least 8 feet deep but this will change based on the day! Paqua Park is located at Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant, 10970 Peninsula Blvd. in Peoria. Sessions cost $25 per person with group booking discounts available in the future.
