Lakeside dining classy, refined at Scorpion Bay Grill

The award-winning Scorpion Bay Grill has become the place to enjoy unforgettable lake-front dining at Lake Pleasant.

Its general manager and head chef have elevated the culinary experience, creating a cross between a high-end country club and your favorite neighborhood bar, with its wide variety of fresh and delicious appetizers, flatbreads, salads, burgers and beverages, all enjoyed with a spectacular lakeside view.

“We take the time to take the highest-quality ingredients to create unforgettable dishes and the freshest cocktails available as we elevate dining on the lake to an entirely new level,” shared Matt Ostermann, general manager at Scorpion Bay Grill.

While Scorpion Bay Grill does offer burgers and fries, the menu features so much more, including vegetarian and gluten-free options upon request. Among the favorite dishes, which are subject to change with seasonal updates:

Burgers: The Grill specializes in a variety, from the succulent Scorpion Bay Burger (6 oz. tender angus beef served with onion rings), the Teriyaki, Southwest and Cowboy burgers, in addition to a choice of grilled chicken breast and turkey burgers that are unforgettable. Each comes with a choice of battered fries, potato salad or (our favorite) Chef Joe’s pineapple-sriracha slaw.

Sandwiches, tacos, fish and chips: Dig into a Marina Club, Reuben, Dam Good Fish Taco, Blackened Chicken Wrap, breakfast taco, or Chef Joe’s Fish and Chips with that tasty pineapple-sriracha slaw.

Fresh Salads: Enjoy a classic Caesar, Baja Chicken, house or strawberry/spinach. Add chicken to each.

Appetizers: Edamame, quesadillas, jumbo wings, onion rings, fried chicken planks and their famous pretzel platter with beer cheese and house-made mustard are popular choices.

Flatbreads: The four are barbeque chicken, margarita, pepperoni and weekend F.O.D., which changes each weekend!

Beverages: There’s one for everybody, including refreshing lemonades and drinks for the kids; mimosas, cocktails and margaritas for the adults.

Desserts: Satisfy your sweet tooth with a choice of ice cream, fried apple chimi or cheesecake.

Scorpion Bay Grill is open for lunch and dinner on weekends, but hours are seasonal so be sure to check the website for hours before making the drive. Fridays and Saturdays include seasonal dinner specials that the chef prepares exclusively for dinner guests.

Scorpion Bay is Arizona’s premier floating playground, offering everything from daily pontoon and ski boat rentals to slips for harboring your yacht (or dinghy). Come for the fishing or come for the frolicking—either way, incredible mountain views, fantastic dining and world-class marina services await less than an hour out of Phoenix. https://www.scorpionbayaz.com/
