Join the Lake Pleasant Clean Up Crew

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is one of the most scenic recreation areas in the Valley. Help keep it clean by volunteering to be part of the clean-up crew that will help pick up litter along the shoreline every Monday morning, 6 a.m. – 8 a.m., from now until October 30. Up to 100 volunteers are needed.

Those who volunteer should be prepared to work in the early morning heat of the summer picking up litter along the shoreline and throughout the park as directed by Park Assistant Doug Robertson. Volunteers should be heat tolerant and mindful of their walking and hiking ability.

Volunteers should park at the Castle Hot Springs dirt lot near the entry station and meet with Robertson outside of the main building. After signing in, volunteers will be directed to where to park for litter pick-up efforts.

What to bring: Water, salty snacks and fruit (oranges are best for hot weather), hat, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes/boots made for uneven surfaces, sunglasses, and work gloves.

Equipment provided: Some additional gloves are available, limited supply, litter pickers, and bags.

Help keep Lake Pleasant a beautiful destination!
